Citizen TV's Serfine Achieng scooped the coveted Human Rights Reporting Award at the second annual Journalist Human Rights Media Awards. In the colourful event held on Friday evening, December 9, Achieng emerged as the best in the TV category. In 2021, Achieng won the Human Rights Journalist of the Year Award and the Health Reporting Award from the Media Council of Kenya (MCK) in 2022. Meanwhile, other journalists in the print media industry were also recognised in the annual Journalist Human Rights Media Awards.
