Arterial roads in the city were heavily waterlogged following downpour on Wednesday afternoon. The Delhi-Gurgaon expressway though remained free from waterlogging but those worse affected areas were the Golf Course Road, Golf Course Extension Road, Sector 29, 47, Sikanderpur, Kanhai road and Huda City Center junction. “Please avoid the road from Kanhai road to Z chowk (at Huda City Centre) due to water logging”. At the Golf Course extension road, located besides the Aravallis makes it susceptible to waterlogging as run-off rainwater from the hills accumulates there. The Municipal Corporation of Gurugram (MCG) finished its waterlogging measures last month but the city has continued to face issues.
