OKLAHOMA CITY — The game was significant on many levels for the Clippers. Foremost, they were facing an Oklahoma City Thunder team ahead of them in the uber-competitive Western Conference. Additionally, the Clippers wanted to sustain the momentum that had carried them to third in the West over the first 53 games. The Clippers’ 129-107 loss to the Thunder was not the performance the Clippers were hoping for in their first game in eight days. A 13-3 run by the Thunder to cap the quarter put the Clippers in a 14-point hole.
