Police in Gloucester, western England, are beginning excavations in the hunt for a teen missing since 1968, who may have been a victim of a serial killer. Mary Bastholm, 15 at the time, was last seen in January 1968, wearing a blue coat. Blue material was found at the excavation site. Fred West, who killed himself in jail in 1995, was said to have confessed to his son to killing Bastholm. A television company told Gloucestershire Police they had found what appeared to be blue material buried in the cellar of the Clean Plate café.
