Ultimately, authorities were able to persuade the dogsitter to drop the pet off at the Humane Society. According to foxnews.com, Fort Collins Police Services posted on social media that a woman named Patricia required help getting her pit-terrier named Scholar returned. The social media post said: “Patricia needed someone to watch her dog, Scholar, for a brief period of time. An acquaintaince couldn’t watch the dog for more than a few days, so he recommended a guy named Jesse (later identified as Jesse Beckwith).”
