Mike and I were pretty sensible, one or two over the course of the evening, but Pete was a little more enthusiastic. Mike corralled the tires, somehow without getting struck and I corralled Pete hoping to avoid getting struck as well. Another night, while the boys were closing up, a couple weeks before we were to leave on our trip, Pete stood too close to the lift which was up. He pushed the down button and down it went, giving him a glancing blow on the way, knocking him cold. “BEER!” Pete roared, and who could argue with that?
