Not only did the bullets failed to hit anyone but the dacoits also got caught by their collar. The incident happened when the miscreants were trying to rob a famous jewellery shop located on Hillcart Road in the north Bengal town of Siliguri around 7 pm. Unaware of what was boiling right outside the gate of the shop, the robbers continued to collect all possible jewellery inside the shop and kept filling their bags. As the clock ticked fast and the robbers took too much time, the crowd started swelling in the busy street. Later on, the Siliguri police took the dacoits away in custody.
