Addressing the event, Election Commissioner Talukder said: “I have studied the recently-held 11th parliamentary election, and I want to share with you my understanding of the polls, which in turn could help you [officials concerned and trainees] in the upcoming city corporation elections. I have noticed that election officials and observers have used two specific words to describe the 11th general polls. One word was satisfactory, and the other was normal.”He continued, “Does that mean that the previous general election was satisfactory? We must find out what the public thinks about it.”Chief Election Commissioner KM Nurul Huda, Election Commission Secretary Helal Uddin Ahmed, election commissioners, secretariat officials, returning and assistant returning officers, plus officials of the Dhaka north and south city corporation areas were present at the event.
