Community generosity brings Easter joy to foster children in North East LincolnshireA long list of businesses and organisations donated chocolate for the annual Easter Egg HuntView 2 Images The Easter Bunny turned out for the Easter Egg Hunt (Image: North East Lincolnshire Council)An exciting Easter Egg hunt brought smiles, excitement and an abundance of chocolate for foster children in North East Lincolnshire. ‌North East Lincolnshire Council ’s Fostering Team thanked the long list of businesses and organisations which supported the event through their generous donations, which totalled more than a hundred eggs. ‌Ann-Marie Matson, director of Children’s Services at North East Lincolnshire Council, said their contributions helped to create a truly special Easter experience, bringing joy, laughter and a sense of celebration to foster families. She added: “It was wonderful to attend the Easter egg event and see so many of our foster families spending time together and enjoying the sunshine. Seeing the children so excited to take part in the Easter Egg Hunt and getting their eggs was a real joy.”
