Shares in the company, which is based in Hertfordshire and is one of the UK’s top listed technology companies by market value and a big player on the continent, were more than 13 per cent higher at £10.09 in late afternoon trading on the London Stock Exchange after it reported a 15 per cent rise in first-half revenues to £1.7 billion. Its pre-tax profit doubled to £47.5 million.
