PRESIDENTIAL Adviser for Entrepreneurship Jose Maria "Joey" Concepcion 3rd suggested a shorter interval for Covid-19 booster vaccines amid the threat of the Omicron variant. Concepcion said Covid-19 booster vaccination will be vital to prevent the spread of the Omicron variant in the country. Earlier, Go Negosyo and over 350 companies from the private sector participated in a meeting with officials of AstraZeneca to streamline initial plans to procure Covid-19 vaccines. During the meeting, Concepcion bared that the private sector has been allowed by the Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases (IATF-EID) to procure AstraZeneca jabs. "The question is sustaining this beyond Christmas...what we are aiming for is a great 2022," Concepcion said.
