It resulted in High Street being closed off between Tower Square and the Roundwell Street roundabout. ‌The local authority wrote: "A temporary road closure will be in place along the High Street in Tunstall today. An inspection of a property on the street found work is required to make it safe for pedestrians. The High Street will reopen as soon as the works are completed.
