PUTRAJAYA: After two years of searching, the authorities have, today, for the first time confirmed that they have found a piece of missing Malaysia Airlines jet MH370. He said the manufacturer further verified that aircraft line number 404 was delivered to Malaysia Airlines and registered as 9M-MRO, which is MH370’s registration number. “Further examination of the debris will continue, to find more evidence that may uncover and provide new insight into the circumstances surrounding flight MH370. Malaysia Airlines had confirmed that the part did indeed originate from one of their Boeing 777s, but stopped short of confirming that it was from MH370. The Malaysia Airlines jet was carrying 239 passengers and crew when it disappeared en route from Kuala Lumpur to Beijing on March 8, 2014.
