Conor McGregor will put his career on the line tonight when takes on Dustin Poirier for a third time. The Irishman's stock has fallen considerably from its peak in 2014-2016 and comes into tonight's trilogy bout having won just one of this last three fights. He insists he has corrected the mistakes he made in the build-up to his January defeat by Poirier but the American will be equally confident he can repeat his feat having stopped McGregor in the second round. The lightweight rivals will walk to the cage no earlier than 5am UK time knowing the winner will be catapulted into a title shot against champion Charles Oliveira.
