North Seberang Prai OCPD Asst Comm Noorzainy Mohd Noor said the policeman broke his right shoulder in the 1am incident. "During the operation, we stumbled upon a motorcyclist using a fancy plate number, and ordered him to stop for inspection. ACP Noorzainy said one of the policemen in the operation then approached the suspect again but he still refused to stop. ACP Noorzainy said the victim was pronounced dead at the scene by medical personnel due to severe head injuries. ACP Noorzainy said the remains of the victim was sent for Covid-19 screening and a post-mortem.
