By Chris Franklin|cfranklin@njadvancemedia.com|A Monroe Township police officer who pleaded guilty to receiving sex in exchange for helping two women receive lesser charges was sentenced in a Gloucester County courtroom Friday. Robert E. Marzi, a 30-year-old former Monroe Township officer, was sentenced to two concurrent three-year sentences in prison. Marzi pleaded guilty to two counts of official misconduct in October after he was indicted. The first incident occurred on January 2016 when Marzi offered to help a woman with her charges if she performed a sexual favor. Later in the year, he offered to help a different woman with her moving violations if she performed a similar act.
