Coronation Street star Ryan Prescott has opened up about the impending exit of co-star Chris Gascoyne. Fans were already under the impression that the actor would be leaving the ITV soap at some point before the end of this year as Peter Barlow. His planned exit was confirmed by the actor himself to Metro.co.uk in July. He then left the role in 2003 and returned in 2007 for a brief stint before returning full-time in 2008. While no details have been divulged about his exit, Ryan, who plays Ryan Connor in Corrie, has teased 'special' scenes between Peter and wife Carla Connor, played by Alison King.
