The BCCI on Friday decided to postpone the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2020 to April 15 as concerns over coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak mount. 🚨Announcement🚨: #VIVOIPL suspended till 15th April 2020 as a precautionary measure against the ongoing Novel Corona Virus (COVID-19) situation. The matches were scheduled to begin from March 29, but there were growing calls to postpone the IPL in view of the coronavirus outbreak. Before Delhi, Karnataka had also expressed unwillingness to host IPL matches and Maharashtra had banned the sale of tickets.
