Belmullet has by far the highest incidence rate per 100,000 of the disease currently at 6031.7, almost double that of every other region. Dundalk-Carlingford (2,395) and Ardee (2,161) also have well above average disease incidence, as the county has the second-highest in the country at 2,462. Tallaght Central has the highest rate within the capital at 2,238, meaning one in 44 has been confirmed to be infected in the last 14 days.
