The Department of Government Information confirms that 544 more persons linked to the Minuwangoda-Peliyagoda cluster have tested positive for Covid-19 today (15). Thereby, the total number of Covid-19 infections registered by the Minuwangoda-Peliyagoda cluster reached 13,628. With the new development, Sri Lanka has confirmed 17,127 novel coronavirus infections to date. According to the Health Ministry’s data, 11,495 of the confirmed patients have made complete recoveries from the virus. The Epidemiology Unit says 5,579 active cases are still receiving medical treatment at selected hospitals across the island.
