Hospitals in Scotland, Northern Ireland and London recorded no new deaths as the rate of new infections continues to decline overall. However, the new figure is a small increase from this time last week, when 38 people died of Covid-19. England reported 26 new deaths, Wales recorded one while Scotland and Northern Ireland both recorded no deaths. He adds that "further measures" on easing lockdown will be set out on 4 July "if it's safe to do so".
