THE High Court sitting in Akure, Ondo state capital, on Wednesday resumed sitting over the killing of the daughter of the late daughter of the former deputy governor of Ondo state Khadijat Oluboyo, with a Consultant Pathologist, revealing that the hair on the head and pubic region of the late Khadijat were shaved by her killer. Dr Pelemo said that the corpse of the deceased which was exhumed and presented for an autopsy on July 9, 2018, was already at the early stage of decomposition. He explained that “there was an abnormal shaving of the hair on the deceased head and the pubic region while her two upper front teeth had been broken off leaving only some fragments left. The combined effects of the injuries led to Khadijat’s death.”The court, however, admitted the autopsy report as an exhibit before the court. Meanwhile, the prosecution had closed its case while the defence was expected to open its case on January 21, this year.
