Nick Tilsley's son is used to blackmail Nick and his former partner Leanne Battersby after her son Simon Barlow got into trouble with Harvey and his drugs gang. Despite Leanne’s fear that he might be walking into a trap, Nick returns home to help look for Sam. Handing Nick a burner phone, the thug tells him that unless Leanne and Simon retract their evidence, he will never see his precious son again. Nick calls Leanne and explains he will not be returning to the hideout as Sam is in danger. Natasha tells Nick and Leanne that if they won’t go to the police, she’ll do it for them.
