Country Garden (2007) reported today net profit in the first six months fell by 9.6 percent to 14.13 billion yuan (HK$15.84 billion) and the core profit also fell by 8.6 percent to 14.61 million yuan. The group declared an interim dividend of 20.55 fen, 10 percent less than the same period last year. Rvenue dropped by 8.4 percent to 184.96 billion yuan. The group achieved contracted sales of around 266.95 billion yuan. Gross floor area sold was 31.85 million square meters.
