After a traumatic birth, Lindsay and John were faced with the trauma of the "mix-up", which Lindsay says will forever "haunt" them both. The couple ended their relationship months after Charlie's birth, with Lindsay saying the trauma left her mental health "crippled". After spending a couple days with their baby boy, Lindsay and John had Charlie cremated, with his ashes scattered alongside Lindsay's mum and dad.
