General News of Wednesday, 18 March 2026Source: www.ghanaweb.comThe High Court in Accra has reportedly admitted into evidence the bank statements of embattled former Director General of the National Signals Bureau (NSB), Kwabena Adu-Boahene, in his ongoing trial. The report indicated that the said bank account statements were initially omitted, even though it did not indicate the party that submitted them as evidence or the party which omitted them. “The High Court has officially admitted into evidence the UMB bank statements of Kwabena Adu Boahene, which were previously described as ‘omitted’,” the media house wrote in a post shared on X on March 17, 2026. "On February 6, 2020, he then transferred an initial amount of GH¢271 million from the NSB account at Fidelity Bank to a private BNC account at UMB. GhanaWeb cannot confirm if the bank statements, which have now been tendered into evidence, are from the same account the Attorney General made reference to.
