General News of Wednesday, 3 April 2019Source: ghananewsagency.orgCourt grants Salifu Maase bailSalifu Maase a.k.a MugabeAn Accra Circuit Court has granted Salifu Maase a.k.a Mugabe, a radio presenter bail in the sum of GH¢ 50, 000.00 with three sureties. Mr Godwin Tamakloe, Counsel for Maase said, his client was ready to stand trial. He said the accused have people of substance to stand surety for him and therefore prayed the court for bail. Deputy Superintendent of Police, George Amegah told the court the prosecution was not opposed to the bail application but pleaded with the court to make sure the bail conditions would make the accused person to appear before the court for a speedy trial. The Court presided over by Mrs Eva Bannerman Williams then granted Mugabe the bail after listening to both sides.
