Afroza Abbas CollectedAccording to the court order, the graft watchdog will seize assets worth Tk20,76,92,363 which includes shares from Dhaka Bank Limited and Dhaka Telephone Company LimitedA Dhaka Court has ordered the confiscation of the assets of Afroza Abbas, wife of BNP leader Mirza Abbas. The Sessions Judge’s Court gave the order on Tuesday against an Anti Corruption Commission (ACC) petition. According to the court order, the graft watchdog will seize assets worth Tk20,76,92,363 which includes shares from Dhaka Bank Limited and Dhaka Telephone Company Limited. A further Tk7,00,000 will be seized from her Dhaka Bank account. The ACC filed a case against Afroza Abbas on January 7, accusing her of illegal accumulation of assets worth over Tk20 crores.
