Dhaka Metropolitan Sessions Judge KM Imrul Qayesh issued the order on Tuesday, allowing a petition made by the Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC). Confirming the matter to BSS, ACC lawyer Mahmud Hossain Jahangir said the court ordered to seize two flats situated in Dhaka’s Dhanmondi area - at Road 39 and Road 6 – and the land in Rupganj area. He is accused of embezzling Tk1,500 crore from the International Leasing and Financial Services Ltd. Halder also allegedly embezzled Tk3,500 crore from different financial agencies.
