Covid-19 Ireland: 377 new cases and 26 in ICU

There have been 377 new cases of Covid-19 reported by the Department of Health this afternoon. There are now 69 Covid-19 patients in Irish hospitals, of which 26 are in intensive care units. It comes as Health Minister Stephen Donnelly confirmed yesterday that over the course of the bank holiday weekend, “we are hitting 3m vaccine doses administered”. Meanwhile, a pop-up test centre has opened in Carlow due to a spike in Covid-19 cases. A temporary walk-in centre is being operated out of Tullow Health Centre today for the bank holiday.
