Throughout the isolation period, the girls’ father was in a different hospital tending to his dad, who had initially tested positive for the disease. The 21 days of quarantine with her daughters in the hospital was a life-changing experience for Zahra. Though in same room, she kept distance from her children, wore protective suit day and night, and maintained constant hygiene. The younger one was difficult to pacify at times,” she recollected, adding that she would weep at times, but hide it from the kids.
