I grew up to the refrains of “the youth are the leaders of tomorrow” and “we are the future”. In primary school, I could only dream and hope that my dreams would come true. In high school, and in my teenage, I finally confronted a semblance of choice. Had to score highlyAfter high school, it turned out the choices had little effect on the next stage of my academic life. An engineering or medical class had the same indiscipline and lack of focus as ‘backbenchers’ in high school.
