Deep Creek Brewery recently won the best small brewery award at the Australian Craft Beer Awards. Craft beer making is also about "sitting around drinking and playing around with funky styles," he said. "It doesn't last long in the keg, there are some pretty thirsty people in Taranaki who like their craft beer."
