Creator League is an NFT project, but not even the stars involved knew it. credit: efuseYesterday Jimmy “MrBeast” Donaldson announced the Creator’s League, an eSports tournament featuring eight top influencers, but strangely, not him. But now after the announcement it turns out that the Creator League Community Passes are NFTs, and some of the creators involved didn’t know it. The Creators League website, which actually leads to a site called Mint, makes no mention of NFTs or blockchain technology. The press, including me, was briefed about the Creator League before it was announced.
