As nations gather in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) later this month for the global climate summit, COP28, South Africa and other developing nations will be calling for clear targets and funding to adapt to devastating climate impacts. "Since COP26 [in Glasgow, UK], we have been pushing for the setting of clear adaptation targets," Forestry, Fisheries and Environment Minister Barbara Creecy told News24 in an interview.
