Cricketer Praveen Kumar today Joined Samajwadi Party. Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav inducted him into the party ahead of the crucial UP Assembly election. Kumar went on to praise Akhilesh Yadav stating that the chief minister has contributed a lot for the betterment of sportsmen in the state. Kumar currently plays for the Uttar Pradesh cricket team. He has been a part of Indian cricket team for six test matches and 68 ODIs.
