Mr. Wale Ojo, who was recently appointed as acting chairman of Peoples Democratic Party in Osun State, was on Tuesday suspended by another faction of the party supported by Senator Ademola Adeleke. Ojo was appointed acting chairman after the erstwhile factional chairman, Soji Adagunodo, was elevated to the post of South-West National Vice Chairman of the party. But rising from an executive council meeting of the party, Adeleke’s faction announced the removal of Ojo and barred him from holding party office for one year. The resolution of the meeting signed by Ayodeji Areola, the State Publicity Secretary, further read in part, “The report of the Osun PDP Disciplinary Committee recommendingthe removal of the Barr Wale Ojo ( Vice-Chairman Osun East) and Alh.
