The Guardian learnt the sad incident was allegedly caused by a generating set at No. xOne of the victims, who owned an electrical and solar panel store, Mr. Felix Orim, said he received a call at midnight and when he got there, yesterday morning, everything was razed. The Council Chairman, Mr. Emmanuel Ishabor confirmed the incident, saying: “I have been there this morning to see for myself. Information we got was that the fire was caused by a generating set. For compensation, we will work with other agencies to see what can be done.”
