Outdoor events can have up to 100 people attend while 200 people can attend venues with capacity of 5,000 or more. While the crowds in Sligo were welcome in many respects there is still public health concerns about the spread of the virus. At one point over the week-end, the County Council closed the road to Streedagh beach due to the large crowds that had gathered. Other resorts, Mullaghmore, Enniscrone, Rosses Point and Strandhill also saw large numbers of people over the week-end. One of the biggest talking points of the week-end was the level of rubbish left behind in several resorts.
