This follows a huge drug haul in the West Coast where crystal meth, heroin and cocaine worth around R5.5 million were seized. Heroin and mandrax worth around R2m have been seized in raids in the Cape Town suburbs of Westlake and Noordhoek. Further afield in Kraaifontein, dagga products, including cookies, muffins and milkshakes, were confiscated from a house that doubles as a karate studio. He said police seized 11 214 mandrax tablets and just under half a kilogramme of crystal meth, known locally as tik.
