In 2002 I made a family cookbook with my first printer (“Saving Memories, Dish by Dish,” Life & Arts, Jan. 30). Everyone had to contribute at least one or two recipes. I included the family tree, medical history, everyone’s birthday and wedding date, old photos and lots of cute cartoons about cooking to entice everyone to look through the book. I give a book to each child when they graduate from college, and every Thanksgiving I give them new pages for the “Birthdays of the Stars” page, as our family grows and grows.
