Customs recently busted a smuggling operation at West Kowloon Station where a woman attempted to take 40 beauty injections into the mainland by taping them to her legs. According to local reports on Wednesday, Customs officers noticed something suspicious when carrying out a routine inspection of the woman's luggage. Officers also noticed that the woman was nervous therefore conducted a search of her person before discovering 40 Ellanse injections strapped to her legs and hidden under her long skirt. A Customs spokesman reminded the public that under Chinese laws, anyone who transports, delivers, carries, or posts restricted and prohibited articles or taxable goods and bypasses customs inspection commits a smuggling act.
