Back at work now, Koroknay-Palicz bikes in a T-shirt and shorts, carrying her work clothes and lunch in panniers. You can bike one way or part way to work, or once a week. Keeling — who has to ride on the sidewalk part of her way to work — wants to show that biking is nevertheless an option. “But when you’re on a bike, you’re burning fat — and you can go wherever you want,” she says.
