KUALA LUMPUR: Four men, including a Kuala Lumpur City Hall (DBKL) enforcement officer, were charged in the Ampang Magistrate’s Court here Friday for participating in a riot at the Puncak Anthenaeum condominium in Bukit Antarabangsa, two weeks ago. The men were charged under Section 147 of the Penal Code, which provides for a jail term of up to two years, or a fine, or both, if convicted. Deputy Public Prosecutor Ahmad Zuhaini Mahamad Amin offered bail at RM7,000 with one surety for each accused. I believe they will not flee, they have steady jobs and their family members also live here,” said the lawyer. The court set bail at RM4,000 with one surety for each accused, and fixed March 7 for mention.
