The three-day event was scheduled to start from January 5. The decision came following the instructions of the prime minister, Bangla Tribune reports quoting Cabinet Secretary Khandker Anwarul Islam. “A letter in this regard will be issued from the Cabinet Division today [Wednesday]. Furthermore, this year’s Police Week has also been postponed on the same grounds,” he was quoted as saying.
