Monrovia – Liberian entertainer, Media Executive and Radio Host, Bernard Benson alias DJ Blue, has expressed his interest in filling the seat of outgoing Montserrado County Senator and President-elect, George Weah. Benson joins a list of several other popular Liberian entertainers who have also switched to politics. Two popular Liberian entertainers contested representative positions in the 2017. Now, Bernard says the lack of legislation to promote Liberian culture and entertainment is causing Liberians to give more attentions to foreign culture and entertainment. He said instead of Liberia’s creative industry be place at the back, it is important to promote it.
