Zomato recently changed to a public limited company from a private company ahead of its planned initial public offering (IPO) later this year. On April 5, 2021, the famous food tech company passed a special resolution reorganising itself as Zomato Limited, starting April 9, 2021. After two successful years, the company was rebranded as Zomato and since then there was no looking back.
