MANILA, Philippines — The Department of Health (DOH) reported 14,786 additional COVID-19 cases on Saturday, raising the country’s total number of active cases to 144,061. According to the DOH, the active cases compose 5.6 percent of the 2,580,173 total confirmed COVID-19 cases. ADVERTISEMENTThe DOH also reported 894 recoveries and 164 deaths. The DOH said 73 percent of ICU beds, 61 percent of isolation beds, and 62 percent of ward beds in the country are now occupied. In Metro Manila, 75 percent of ICU beds, 51 percent of isolation beds, and 62 percent of ward beds are being used.
