It is really giving an economic booster to the Philippines,” Lantayona told reporters during the launch of Google’s MSME Caravan in Taguig City on Wednesday. DTI has partnered with Google Philippines to launch the caravan, which aims to equip MSMEs with digital skills and tools to begin digitizing their businesses through a series of workshops. Aside from the workshops, Google Philippines also encourages MSMEs to make use of the free Google My Business, which enables businesses to be listed on Google Map and be searchable on Google Search. For those who would not be able to attend the MSME Caravan, Gonzales said that the Primer application is a good solution.
