WINNIPEG, Manitoba — Stars defenseman Thomas Harley will make his season debut on Tuesday night against the Jets, occupying the third pairing alongside Jani Hakanpää. It’s not Harley’s NHL debut — he played against Colorado during the 2020 round robin during the playoffs — but it will be his first career NHL regular-season game and first NHL game in front of fans. As Harley and Hakanpää (missed Friday’s game against Ottawa while in COVID-19 protocol) entered the Stars lineup, Andrej Sekera and Joel Hanley exited. Thomas is strong enough and the more 1-on-1 battles he’ll get into, he’ll figure it out.”Harley: “Now that I’m in Winnipeg, it’s definitely hit me. History lesson: Before morning skate on Tuesday morning, Bowness looked up to the rafters and pointed towards the eight numbers the Jets have honored.
